About Us TERI SMITH-BOARDMAN, Executive Producer ORLANDO EVENTS UNLIMITED Teri received a Public Relations Degree from the University of Florida in 1979 and then started her event production career in Tampa, Florida in hotel marketing. While living in Tampa, she produced the Original GRAD NIGHT at Busch Garden, the 1st Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fashion Show for MDA and the Super Bowl Super City Run in San Francisco. During the 1984 Tampa Super Bowl she produced the Super City Run, the Super Bowl Yacht Parade along with a Fireworks Extravaganza and the Candlelight Vigil for Adam Walsh / Missing Children Organization. The Walsh story was featured on the NBC Today Show with Bryant Gumble the following morning. With an impressive special event list on her repertoire in the 80’s, she moved to Orlando and started PROMOTIONS UNLIMITED OF FLORIDA.  Her client list included the United States Olympic Equestrian Team, Silver Springs Nature Park & Wild Waters Ocala and the Central Florida Zoo. In 1988 she produced and syndicated the Florida Citrus Sports Association Florida Citrus Bowl Parade, which lead to a contract to produce an ABC Sports TV special called,” Bowl Time.” Teri then later created and produced a National TV Christmas Special called, ”Santa Salutes the Soaps” featuring network Soap Opera Stars on parade in Downtown Orlando. Teri is the creative mastermind behind many “first time” special events. She created the “original” Miss Piggy Look-A-Like Contest that received national news coverage on the CBS Nightly News with Dan Rather.  She also created the Sarah Purcell Look-A-Like Contest that aired on NBC’s REAL PEOPLE.  Other “firsts” included The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders MEDIA ALL-STAR GAME, The World’s Largest Hallmark Valentine sent to the USA Olympic Team in Nagano, Japan.  In cooperation with the NCAA Championship Bowl Series she produced the University of Florida 1994 & 1996 BOWL PARTY and the Tennessee Volunteers ’99 FAN PARTY carried “live” from the Fiesta Bowl.  In the New Millennium, Promotions Unlimited continued to produce the 14th Annual Doggie Derby at the Amway Arena and the 4th Annual Jingle Bell Dog Jog. ORLANDO EVENTS UNLIMITED currently owns ALL COPYRIGHTS for the Orlando Christmas Parade, Santa Salutes the Stars, Holiday in the Park and Santa's Farewell Party.
